We Are Storytellers
The arts and culture are an integral part of our daily lives. Together, we can encourage more people to care about them.
Founded in 2005 by veteran publicist Suzanne Cheriton, RedEye Media is a strategic communications consulting and media relations firm dedicated to arts and entertainment and serving leading festival, film, television, and performing arts clients across Canada. Distinguished by a depth of experience, cross-industry knowledge—and not to mention a killer work ethic—we believe that successful storytelling can stem organically, and thoughtfully, from our partners’ values and vision.
As the media landscape evolves, look to the RedEye family for a turnkey client approach that can further integrate experiential marketing, brand consultation, influencer relations and new audience cultivation. With a deeply felt commitment to our work and understanding of the broader cultural conversation, our end goal is to keep the artistic community alive and thriving—let’s do it together.
Suzanne Cheriton is one of Canada’s most established and respected arts and entertainment communications professionals.
With over 20 years of career experience Suzanne has represented film, television, and performing arts producers and artists at various stages of the presentation cycle including unit publicity, festival launches, theatrical and broadcast launches, season announcements and production openings. After getting a BFA in Theatre from York University she began her career working in film festival and distribution publicity at VKPR, contributing to campaigns for FoxSearchlight Pictures in Canada, the Hot Docs Film Festival and representing films at the Toronto International Film Festival. After launching RedEye Media in 2005, she quickly became an industry mainstay with a continued focus on film and television, expanding her practice to include unit publicity and joining IA667. Suzanne eventually made a full circle back to her roots, adding live theatre into the mix. Today RedEye Media continues to work with some of the most innovative and inspiring performing arts and screen producers in Canada and beyond.
